Working With Our Coaches

This weekend the Fiji Surfing Association is conducting a Level 2 surfing coaching course at Beachouse. The participants were into the first day yesterday and today to see the finish of the theory component.
From here the participants will have to train a young surfer towards a competition and present documentation that highlights the programme they ran. I’m sure they’ll be up to the task and Fijian junior surfers will benefit from their extended training.
If you’re looking to get into the sport of surfing for you or your kids make sure they are accredited and trained to ensure good development but also a safe environment. If you’re unsure contact, FSA, for the nearest accredited coach near you.
On April 22nd, the Kit Deger Memorial Junior surfing event will be on at Beachouse, Coral Coast. Kit loved his surfing and was always encouraging juniors to share his passion.
The event will have Under-16 boys and girls and Under-12 boys and girls but it’s a restricted field so it will be first in operating. Entry form will be out next week and sent to all the Boardriding Clubs and the FSA accredited surf coaches. Keep your eye out for them.
