Delta Timber Verata maintained their unbeaten run in the Foodcity Supermarket sponsored Rewa Football Local League competition at Saraswati Primary School ground in Manoca, Nausori.

The side held Saint Christopher 2-2 on Sunday in their round three clash and look on course to win the Premier Division title this year.

Rewa Football secretary Ajinesh Bhan said Verata proved to be a tough side in the competition.

“They are unbeaten in their two league games and have played well so far. The round two premier league games were spectacular and I thank all the teams for preparing well this season.

“Our competition takes a break this week as most of the players will be engaged in Easter tournaments around the country,” Bhan said.
