Naduku successfully defended the Vanua Challenge title after edging out Tacilevu 6-3 during the Rewa Rugby Union competition at Burebasaga District School ground last Saturday.

RRU chairman Ratu Sakiusa Secake said they have named their final team to play in the Vodafone Vanua Trophy.

“There were fourteen teams playing and our competition is expanding as there are more clubs coming to compete which is great for the Rewa Rugby Union,” Ratu Sakiusa said.

“I’ve named my 42-member extended squad and I’m glad that we’ve some players like Alivereti Veitokani with us.”
