Fiji Sports Council chief executive Litiana Loabuka has encouraged the public to buy their Super rugby tickets now.

The Chiefs and Crusaders game kicks off at the ANZ Stadium on May 19 at 7:35pm.

She said: “We are impressed with ticket sales which are going extremely well.  We have had high ticket sales for the grass embankment area in particular and the platinum section up at the grandstand.

“We have noticed an increase in online ticket sales from New Zealand this year, specifically for grandstand area and we have had a few business houses purchase blocks of tickets for concrete embankment as well,” Loabuka said.

Loabuka also confirmed the platinum and grass embankment area tickets have been selling fast during this Early Bird period when the tickets are being sold on a discount rate.

The Early Bird sales will end on April 30.

“The ticket prices will revert to its normal price of $190, $150, $50 and $30 respectively from May 1.

“Ticket Sales are scheduled to end on Saturday May 13 so just a reminder to all out there.

“Avoid the disappointment,” Loabuka added.

The Chiefs management team was in the country earlier this week for a series of meetings with the necessary groups and individuals as they did last year, just to get updates and cross off items on the logistical list.

“In terms of progress, they are pleased with where we are right now,” Loabuka said.

Five weeks out and more or less have ironed out most details,” she added.

Fiji Sports Council is grateful to the following organisations that do so much to contribute to the event; the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces, Fiji Police Force, Formscaff, Stage Tech, Pacific Destinations, Paradise Beverages, Warrick group for engineering, Mahesh Syndicate, Pasifika Tents and China Railway First Group (Fiji) Ltd.
