Free Bird Institute Ltd Appoints Qoro, Nameki To Its Board

Latileta Qoro and Yoko Nameki have been appointed non-executive directors on the Free Bird Institute Ltd board.
This appointment is made in accordance with Article 7.5 of the company’s Articles of Association.
Ms Qoro was the former CEO of South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPSE) and brings with her extensive experience in the development of capital markets.
Board chairman, Hiroshi Taniguchi, said: “We are fortunate to have Lati on board because it shows that she has confidence in our company and as a newly-listed entity we could use someone of Lati’s calibre and experience to assist us with this journey.”
Ms Lati holds a Master of Commerce Degree majoring in accounting as well as a Bachelor of Economics Degree, both from the University of Sydney.
Mrs Nameki is the outgoing general manager in charge of the high school division with the parent company South Pacific Free Bird Co Ltd in Japan.
Her work experience and knowledge of the education sector in Japan spans for more than 12 years. She was also a Director of the Japanese Department of the SISA English Institute we in California USA from 2008 until 2010.
Ms Nameki holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Fort Hays State University in USA.
The board also received the resignation of Raman Velji yesterday.
