The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has welcomed Lukas Hamilton Eddy from the United Kingdom for two months as a legal intern with the ODPP.

Mr Eddy studied law at City University, London, before being called to the Bar in 2015 by The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, one of the four Inns of Court in London.

The internship was made possible by a scholarship from the Inner Temple and Mr Eddy chose to come to Fiji.

Prior to coming to Fiji, Mr Eddy was a legal intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, assisting the Judges during the trial of Serbian General Ratko Mladic After his internship with the ODPP, Mr Eddy will be returning to England to commence his pupillage.
