Vuci Methodist Gets New Classrooms

Good schools are needed for a society to fully recognise and utilise its hidden talents.
This remark was made by Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts, Mahendra Reddy during the opening ceremony of three classroom block at Vuci Methodist School in Nausori yesterday.
He said a school plays a greater role in changing the society and its people in the sphere of academic, social, economic, spiritual, moral and physical development.
“It moulds the country’s future to become responsible citizens and contribute positively to nation building.
“Our dream is to channel a quality education system which will pave the way for excellence.
“We foresee, that daily all Fijian children happily go to school without having to face any difficulties, study in quality school environments with all the needed resources, work hard and prosper in academic, extra-curricular and values education and succeed in life.
“Our beloved nation will then reap the fruits of this system as our future generation will be brighter, competent and more productive, making our country a global competitor,” Mr Reddy said.
