Pacific Energy Backs Games

Pacific Energy gave $10,000 to the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association ahead of the 2017 Coca-Cola Games to be held at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on April 20-22.
Pacific Energy business manager lubricants Tapuaki Finauga handed the cheque to FSSAA secretary Vuli Waqa in Suva yesterday.
“Pacific Energy is once again excited to be sponsors of the Coca-Cola Games,” he said.
“We have been the sponsor since 2010. Being part of this event it reinforces how we as a Pacific company identify our young and energetic youths strive towards achieving the best they can be.
“With this $10k worth of fuel sponsorship, it has helped Fiji Secondary take the torch relay to all the major schools in the country. For a living brand likes Pacific Energy when we support our young people, it’s a priceless reward,” Finauga said.
Waqa thanked Pacific Energy for their support.
“This year’s games will be one of the best as we have increased the number of schools participation this year,” he said.
POLICE WARNING
Assistant Superintendent of Police Livai Driu has issued a stern warning to students who plan to act mischievously on the day. “We are going to ensure that the game is incident free. We are also warning students who will be coming over to Suva, that they should follow the rules of the game.”
