“I care to inspire everyone that self-healing is not just about your perception of life, but also the food you eat”

The Rhum-Ba at the Port Denarau has come up with a new event created by iridologist/biopsychologist Celeste Preece which was hailed a success at the opening last month.

Ms Preece combined with Rhumba-Ba executive chef Darren Braddock to combine dining with a health message and look forward to the next one on April 24.

Her passion for holistic healing inspired her to establish a fundamental message of health with executive chef Darren Braddock.

The pair through a fine dining and a ‘’Modern Twist Health Event” would be pointing out the mind and body connection, for a healthy and happy life style.

Ms Preece said, “I care to inspire everyone that self-healing is not just about your perception of life, but also the food you eat, as they affect our neurotransmitters whom are our chemical messengers to our body cells, we have to connect the Mind and the Body to enable a recovery of mental health or also physical health, and maintain a healthy life.

“I choose the Rhum-Ba as it’s my most favourite place to be Fiji and also one of the best restaurants in Fiji, I am European and spoilt for good taste of food,” she said.

With the abundance of local produce chef Braddock selects them for the dinning guests, teaching about the nutrition and health effect on the body of each designer dish being served.

“What an important matter to share with Fiji, how much we are blessed with healthy local food,” Mr Braddock said.

“Enjoying organic fine dining and a health lecture within one fun night at the Rhum-Ba, is an outstanding new concept here in Fiji and is challenging all of Fiji to get involved.”
