The A.Hussain & Co Limited sponsored Labasa Football Association Local League 2017 will begin this Sunday at Subrail Park, in Labasa.
Chairman Shameer Hassan said the league would start at 9am.
“The league aims to showcase the talents and skills of the local players in Labasa,” Hassan said.
“We have 10 teams participating and all are from Labasa.
“The teams are from Batinikama, Wailevu, Soasoa, Vunika, Siberia, Vunimoli, Vunivau and Valebasoga.
“We are aiming to complete this league by the end of the 2017 soccer season.”
The winner of the league will walk away with $1000 prize money.
