The Street Demon Car Show organizers were stunned by the big turnout at the car show in Namaka, Nadi last night.

Francis Rounds, one of the organisers of the event, said the huge turnout at the event would surely make them host another bigger and better one soon.

More than 160 cars were part of the car show.

“It’s difficult in judging right now as there is so many cars and we are taking it step by step, and we want to deliver all our cars over here, and we have actually,” he said.

“We are surprised that we have a huge turn out here, we did not expect this crowd actually but this shows that people have good interest in their cars,” he said.

The money collected from the event will be given to Saint Minas Children’s Home in Martintar, Nadi.

“We are looking forward this charity is going towards the Saint Minas Children’s home and we are focussing on them, if they need a bit of help, in a stage where they need money, clothes and toys,” Mr Rounds said.

“When we are down there, you got to respect this entire people over here and we are trying our best, and give them a life and make them comfortable and trying to fulfil what they needs.

Forty-two trophies, six movie tickets, $250 cash and two T-shirts from Satellite Rental Car were the prizes to be won.

“We thank AFL for sponsoring grounds as well we are really helpful as we got the right locations, just on the road side.”
