The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is expected to respond to questions raised by the Opposition on the 2013 Constitution in today’s Parliament sitting.

Outspoken Social Democratic Liberal Party MP Mosese Bulitavo in his oral question will ask Mr Bainimarama if he could inform Parliament if the 2013 Constitution would be reviewed.

Mr Bulitavo said that it was one of the issues brought up by people during his two weeks consultation with the people in Vanua Levu.

“I have been travelling around Vanua Levu noting issues raised by the people and I will conduct another visit after this Parliament sitting,” he said.

Mr Bulitavo said it was a very important question which a lot of people were still seeking answers to.

He said other issues raised by people in Vanua Levu were the road conditions in rural areas.

“I hope that this Parliament sitting will be a fruitful one, where we will discuss issues affecting the people of this country,” Mr Bulitavo said.

Meanwhile, SODELPA MP, Viliame Gavoka was also expected to table a motion in Parliament today for Parliament to show support to Fiji Sugar Corporation for engaging with iTaukei cane farmers through cooperative and joint ventures.
