Nadi Defender Jese Ruled Out Of Premier League

Jack’s Nadi football defender Ilimotama Jese has been ruled out in today’s Vodafone Premier League clash against 4R Electrical Ba at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
Nadi FA secretary Mohammed Rafiq confirmed this to SUNsports yesterday.
“Jese will surely be available for the Fiji FACT as we will clear the suspension sum by then,” Rafiq said.
The Fiji Football Association has also cleared the air on Jese’s suspension. Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel confirmed that the board had met on February 17 but Jese had failed to appear.
“He didn’t appear so the board at that time felt it was time to suspend him indefinitely.
“When he appeared in front of the board we gave him an opportunity to defend himself. The board felt that he should be suspended for six matches and a $5000 fine imposed as the repayment of fees that Ba incurred has to be paid back.”
Patel said Nadi Football tried to appeal the decision of the board by taking it to arbitration.
“The arbitration chief ruled that Fiji FA’s decision is correct and it stands. That means from February 17 he needs to miss six matches and pay that fine.”
The match starts at 3pm.
