More than 100 parents turned out to support the Queen Victoria School’s Bau House Fun Day at the Delainamasi Government School grounds in Nasinu on Saturday.

The event was organised by the Bau House Parents and Teachers Association in a bid to raise funds for Bau House for needs and meals during examinations.

PTA president Vutaieli Bolaqace said the event allowed for all the parents and students to get together and socialise.

Mr Bolaqace said the PTA would allow more understanding between parents and children in a bigger setting.

Parent Viniana Naiula said the first fun day for Bau House was broken up from Year Nine to Year 13 levels.

“This is a day that has brought families together and being able to fundraise to help our children,” Ms Naiula said.
