The JIL Dreketi football players and officials are working around the clock to prepare their team for the 2017 Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Dreketi coach Johan Leewai told SUNsports they have included five players from Suva.

“They are here training with us as they will return on Sunday,” Leewai said.

“We are not camping but instead we are having two sessions a day- one in the morning from 9.30am to 11 am and from 5pm to 6.45pm,” Leewai said.

He said they are preparing well for the Fiji FACT and are also analysing their performance from the last two Vodafone Premier League matches to help them strengthen certain aspects of their game.

Leewai said they have between 18 to 20 players who would be representing them.

Dreketi captain Ashnil Raju said he was honoured to lead the team to the tournament.

“I’m looking forward to my first tournament as captain and we are doing everything possible to win it.”

Dreketi are placed in Group A where they face Ba, Nadi and neighbours Labasa.
