The Savenaca Aria-coached Jacks Nadi rugby side aims for a top four finish in the Skipper Cup competition

Team manager Lasaro Rabaka said preparation was underway after their 47-22 loss to BLK Nadroga two weeks ago.

The side fielded eight debutants in that match.

“Our objective is to remain in the top four and book a home semi-final which will be a great advantage,” he said.

The side will first have to host Northland at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this Saturday, 3pm with no wholesome changes in the lineup.

“We have niggling injuries but should be ready to bounce back. We might have to change a few players.

“Northland has won their first match and we expect a good game at home. We are taking the match seriously.”

He added the coaches and the trainer were working around a clock to entertain their diehard fans with a rugby show.

“We call on the vanua of to turn up and support the team. We remain optimistic of achieving a good result.

Northland beat Macuata 18-15 in Labasa two weeks ago.

In the other matches, Suva host Nadroga in the feature match at the ANZ Stadium, Naitasiri face Macuata and Namosi play Malolo at Thomson Park.
