Ravouvou Recovering

Hopes are for Vodafone Fijian 7s playmaker Vatemo Ravouvou to recover fully for the final leg of the World Sevens Series in Paris and London next week.
Paris 7s is scheduled for May 13- 14 and London 7s on May 20-21.
The Saunaka, Nadi native played an instrumental role for Fiji during the Hong Kong Sevens last month as they defended their title winning 22-0 over South Africa.
The Olympian is well known for his field vision and a very good supportive player during attack and ruthless in defence. At So Kon Po last month the Olympian scored the second highest points with a total of 41 behind USA Perry Baker who finished on top of the table with 45.
Ravouvou also kicked eight conversions. It was unfortunate for the Nadi native to miss out the Singapore 7s due to injury and is fighting his way back into the squad for the final leg.
In an earlier interview, Vodafone Fijians 7s head coach Gareth Baber said Ravouvou still stand a chance for Paris and London.
“He still stand a chance for the last leg, we are successful because of the quality of skill he level he brought.
“His defence has improved and he is more disciplined and that’s the message I’m putting to everybody in the squad,” Baber said.
Meanwhile, the squad for the final leg will be released today. The team departs for Paris on Sunday.
Fiji is grouped alongside Australia, Samoa and Russia in Pool D.
