Buyers Impressed With What Fiji Has To Offer

The buyers at the Fijian Tourism Expo 2017 are impressed with what Fiji has to offer as an island Holiday destination.
The expo welcomed 153 buyers including 17 international media from 21 countries and 98 exhibitors at the two-day event at Denarau Convention Centre.
It is closed tonight by Tourism Minister Faiyaz Koya at the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay.
Germany-based Infinity Reisen agency, was part of the event for the first time and was pretty impressed.
Owner/general manager Antje Seifert said, “First time for me in Fiji and as a small tour operator in Germany, we are expanding in the Pacific region.
“We expected to get new impression of hotels right to five stars.”
Aktiv-Resor (Tours) all the way from Helsinki, Finland was also present.
Owner/Managing Director said, “It is really great to be part of this expo, to find out the new product and existing products has been improved.
“I am definitely impressed,” he said.
He added that Fiji is a real holidays destination because its lovely people, culture, nature the sun and ocean.
China-based Tongcheng International Travel Service Company Limited’s Chen Wei Dong said, “This is a very good fair. There is a good chance for the buyers to know the sellers and the good products promoting Fiji to our clients. We can tailor together on markets which is very important.”
Treasure Island Resort general manager Robert Wade said: “Fiji Tourism Exchange is Fiji’s premier tourism event that happens every year, and again is an opportunity for Tourism Fiji in total to bring large international wholesalers.
He added it gives the right opportunity to see the great facilities Fiji has to offer.
Nila Beach Resort managing director Mohan Chinnusamy said, “This is an awesome event as for us being the first timers, we expect to benefit more in this interaction with the buyers and seller.”
Vuda based property Nila Beach Resort is among the first timers with Kokomo, Vunabaka operated by Six Senses Fiji and the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay.
