A ship identified as the Southern Phoenix was spotted sinking at the Suva Harbour early hours this morning.

Police and relevant authorities are attending to the matter at this moment.

About 20 containers from the sunken vessel were spotted by our reporter at the scene floating at least 200 meters from the shore.
