Body Of Asian Honeymooner Found Floating

A 29-year-old Hong Kong woman who was on her honeymoon is the latest drowning victim in the country.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the woman was found floating by her husband while they were snorkelling at the Paradise Cove Resort in Yasawa.
“The victim was found floating by her husband while snorkelling on the Thursday afternoon,” said Ms Naisoro.
“Attempts made to revive her were futile and she was airlifted from the resort to Lautoka Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
“We have informed the Chinese Embassy and the necessary investigation is being conducted.”
The Hong Kong Immigration Department confirmed that the woman, surnamed Chan, married last month and arrived in Fiji in late April for her honeymoon, according to the South China Morning Post.
