The National Fire Authority (NFA) is carrying out an investigation to determine the cause of a fire which partially damaged a Government quarters in Lautoka.

The incident reportedly happened at around 8pm on Saturday at Vomo Street.

It is alleged that the fire had started from the kitchen.

The NFA said they managed to stop the fire from spreading to the other areas of the quarters.

“There were eight labourers staying in the quarters and no one was reported to be injured,” the NFA said.
