Gamel aids Rakiraki
Newcomers Supreme Fuel Autocare Rakiraki is ready to step up and make a mark in the Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament which starts on Friday at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.
“I feel so happy for the team to have finally made it to Fiji Fact,” Rakiraki Football president Shaneel Goundar said.
“We struggled to come this far but I have faith in boys to perform better and do wonders in our first FACT tournament.”
Since their promotion and taking part in the Vodafone Premier division this year, their best result was playing to a draw against Lautoka.
Goundar confirmed Vodafone Fijian coach Christophe Gamel assisted them in training.
“We were fortunate to have Gamel and technical advisor Sam Lal.
Goundar is urging all the Rakiraki fans to support the team.
