Climate change

Wise Muavono, Lautoka

Another sign of climate change – getting hit by a cyclone after the end of our regular cyclone season.

Dakuwaqa’s ambitious move

Samuela Kailawadoko,  Nadi

This ambitious decision by Masivesi Dakuwaqa to switch codes and honour a contract with Canberra Raiders will not be an undoubted novelty.

Noa Nadruku was successful of this venture.

No doubt this stocky hard-working forward will enjoy every moment of this thrilling game.

He is a remarkable character in the sevens rugby code and I am sure he will thrive on these changes in the game.

He is an Olympian and that factor, together with the existence of rugby players of diverse talents in both the codes should not be the reason for the challenge issued by Canberra Raiders.

I am sure he would quickly cope with the pace and combination of Canberra Raiders.

The fans will soon be enthralled, no doubt, by his adventurous rugby style.

He is special and it would be nice to think that one of these might be the perfect moment in the Mel Meninga’s swansong revival.
