This One’s for My Parents: Naidu

Making life better for her parents is her next job description
Pritika Naidu fulfilled her parents’ wish by graduating yesterday.
Ms Naidu, 24, of Rakiraki walked away with a Bachelor of Commerce from the Fiji National University’s graduation at the Vodafone Arena in Laucala Bay, Suva.
She said her biggest support came from her parents whom she worked hard for.
“I am the youngest in the family but we had come across a lot of struggles and difficulties to get through university,” she said.
“My degree is for my parents’ dream who wanted to see me graduate. My parents have done a lot for me and it’s my turn to pay them back with a better job and better lifestyle for them.”
She would now turn her attention to make things better for her parents.
“I want a better life for them and for them to know that I am always there no matter what happens. Being the youngest in the family, I will always be my parents’ little girl no matter how far I go in life.
“My parents are the biggest pillars of strength. They have taught me everything. And I am walking in their footsteps to move forward in life.”
