Rewa will be forced to make changes in their line-up when they play Bua in the Vodafone Vanua Championship at the Wairiki village ground on Saturday.

They will be missing the services of Peni Kurusiga and Kameli Waqamate who have suffered injuries and have been ruled out of the clash.

Coach Ro Alifereti Doviverata said yesterday the absence of players would not hinder the team as he has capable replacements.

“This is a good time to test these boys out and see what they have to prove out on the field and I will have a chance to test our new combinations as well,” the former Vodafone Flying Fijian captain said.

“We will be making some positional changes so that is something I will be focusing on and looking at over the next couple of days. Consistency is a key for Rewa as we have a lot to build-up on going against a good Bua side. We’ve been working on our set pieces, our scrums and lineouts are the main areas that we have been focusing on this week. Going up against Bua will be tough because they are a good team but we will need to get our set pieces right if we want to have a good game.”
