Combined Service coach Kaiava Lekenaua is confident that they are going to do well in this year’s Macuata Rugby Union’s club competition.

This was after they trounced USP 31-0 at Subrail Park, Labasa last Saturday.

“I can see a lot of potential in my players which needs to be taken out from the nutshell,” Lekenaua told SUNsports.

“They can do much better and so I have decided on a new training programme to assist them as we have more matches to play.”

Despite the big loss, USP rugby trainer Peni Naitini said to play and win was not their primary goal at the moment.

“Most of us are students and we are participating in these games to help build on our fitness as we prepare to play in the USP competition,” Naitini said.
