The Manu Samoa 7s team start their defence campaign of the Paris Sevens against the Vodafone Fijian 7s side on Saturday at 8pm. The Sir Gordon Tietjens coached-side have released the names of their players for the last two tournaments of the 2016/17 World Sevens Series.

According to the Samoa Rugby Union, the team are looking to repeat that winning performance once more.

The team hosts familiar faces of skipper Faalemiga Selesele, playmaker Tila Mealoi, speedster Samoa Toloa, Tomasi Alosio and  Alamanda Motuga. Missing from the team is veteran Afa Aiono but fellow veteran Alatasi Tupou has made his place on the roster once more. The team welcomes back fresh legs: Elisapeta Alofipo, Gordon Langkilde and Francis Ieremia.
