Niranjans Autoport Limited is the first authorised motor vehicle dealer to access the Land Transport Authority’s fully automated online registration and licencing facility, or LTASoft.

Signing a memorandum of agreement with LTA, Niranjans now becomes an authorised online vehicle registration agency with direct access to enter all brand new vehicle details online, doing away with the need for a staff member to visit LTA offices manually to do the same.

The agreement was signed between Niranjans Autoport Limited’s chief executive officer Bob Niranjan and LTA’s chief executive officer, Carmine Piantedosi.

“This will ensure that records are updated at the source by the authorised agency and when customers collect their registration certificates at LTA, data will already be available,” Mr Piantedosi said.

This initiative, Mr Piantedosi said, also took LTA’s services closer to its customers through accredited agencies like Niranjans.

Mr Niranjan said they were grateful to LTA for providing the new facility.

“Niranjans will be reaching its ‘100 years in Transportation’ anniversary in 2020. We are proud that we have provided a number of firsts for our customers over the years and being selected as the first authorised agency with access to the authority’s fully automated online registration and licencing facility reinforces this commitment,” he said.

“LTA continues to grow from strength to strength and we are all benefiting because of it.”

The first phase of LTASoft was the automation of internal processes for LTA staff followed by phase two, which now opens specific online access to accredited LTA and Government agencies.

“We are glad and take this opportunity to congratulate Niranajans Autoport Limited for being yet again, the first authorised motor vehicle dealer to start using LTA’s recently developed online services facility,” Mr Piantedosi said. Source: Land Transport Authority
