All We Want is a Simple ‘Thank You’

All nurses want is simple ‘thank you’ said a nurse team leader at a hospital.
Madras Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (MIOT) Pacific yesterday honoured their hardworking nurses recognising International Nurses Day yesterday.
So when asked about their drive to do their work MIOT Pacific Hospitals acting team leader nursing, Jonetani Rokoua, said all they need is a simple ‘thank you’.

“I always encourage my staff and ask them what drives them to come to work as a nurse every day?” Mr Rokoua said.
“The responses from my nurses are pleasing because they fulfil the pledge which we all took the day we graduated.
“I always encourage my nurses to be passionate about their work and look forward for a better day every day.
“Usually we are faced with a lot of challenges because of the nature of work that we do.
“But as expected, we perform our duties with dignity and pride.
“That is the passion that drives me and I know it does for my nurses too.
“All we ask back from our patients is a simple thank you as an achievement for us,” Mr Rokoua said.
