The 2017 Vodafone Fijian FACT will be played on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori next week.

Fiji Football Association acting president, Yogeshwar Singh said they shifted the game earlier to Thursday because they won’t be having any pool games played on Friday due to the Super Rugby match between the Crusaders and Chiefs at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

“FACT to kick off next week Thursday and continue on Saturday and Sunday,” Singh said.

“No games will be played on Friday because of the Super Rugby match.”

Singh said fans who bought tickets can use it next weekend.

“Members of the public who have bought their tickets for this weekend can use the same tickets for next week, according to the allocated days of the tournament as stated on the ticket.

“I hope it is understood that the game was postponed due to Tropical Cyclone Ella. We took into consideration the safety of the players and spectators during the tournament,” he added.

Meanwhile, the date and time for the official opening of the Vodafone Fiji FACT will be confirmed later.
