Miss World Fiji Showcases, Unique Side Of Fiji
The Miss World Fiji contestants yesterday visited Golden Point Resort in Rakiraki which showcased the scenic, sunny side view.
Miss World Fiji director Andhy Blake said it was important to showcase unique locations because their social media page had 130 other franchises from Miss World that followed Miss World Fiji.
“Hence, why we have chosen Golden Point Resort because of its location; and it is in Ra province and we like to showcase some of the unique things that are available in different provinces in Fiji,” he said.
“We are very fortunate to be hosted by the Golden Point Resort in Rakiraki.”
He said the highlighting of tourism sites was important for the industry.
“For us it is important because whenever we go to international competition, people always ask about Fiji and tourism; tourism is such a huge interest for Fiji,” he said.
