Jeet Crowned Queen Of Sydney Pageant

Indo Fijian Sydney resident, Nisha Jeet was crowned the Miss Bula Hibiscus Queen at the pageant in Liverpool, Sydney on April 29.
Ms Jeet is a Sydney based dancer, actor, and a model and is a woman who is very passionate about her dreams.
In an email from Sydney, one of the organisers Sachin Sharma said the winner Ms Jeet believed in working hard to achieve her dreams and had a positive attitude towards life which helped her overcome any difficulty in life.
“Her motto is to spread love and happiness in the world and help people in need,” Mr Sharm said.
“One of her biggest dreams is to open up a hostel to provide shelter to the women who suffer domestic violence.”
The Bula Hibiscus Festival is a family-orientated multicultural event, which relives Pacific Islands unique cultural experience, where Australia’s multicultural community in Sydney enjoy a wide variety of entertainment from Pacific island groups, enjoying delicacies of island food and learn about island culture and Traditions.
Events like the festival get Australians to mix with those from different backgrounds who have the opportunity to learn the richness of island culture and traditions.
The Bula Hibiscus Festival was organised by Mr Sharma and Sashi Lal where approximately 10,000 people attended including the Fijian High Commissioner to Australia Yogesh Punja; and other Australian local, state and federal Members of Parliament.
