One-year-old Maten Samuel Borwick’s mother Maryangela Borwick was overwhelmed after the Gallagher Chiefs team visited them at the children’s ward at the Colonial War Memorial hospital yesterday.

Borwick said her son was very happy meeting up with the rugby stars.

“I’m overwhelmed and my son was happy. Most importantly for my son, it really lights his day and I pray he recovers well soon,” Borwick said.

“It is also very exciting to personally meet these stars who are very humble for me as a mother

“I am a big Chiefs fan and I am looking forward to the Super Rugby match.”
