Red and yellows cards continued to mar the second day of the Vodafone Fijian FACT tournament at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori yesterday.

A total of six red and 32 yellow cards were issued in the last two days and are a concern for Vodafone Fijian football coach Christophe Gamel.

“It is a big concern to see six red and 32 yellow cards in eight games in two days of competition,” Gamel said. “This is a massive concern and players need to improve their discipline. Indiscipline behaviour affects the game at national level if it’s not nipped in the bud now.

“I’m really concerned and I’m working with Fiji Football to improve on this area.”

Yesterday two Nadi players Ilimotama Jese and Samuela Tamanisau and Labasa’s Ilisoni Logaivau were red carded.
