It happened during our pool opener in the Paris 7s last week, and again in London last night.

Our Vodafone Fijian 7s team blew away a 12-7 lead at halftime to go down 19-22 to Canada in the opening pool game of the London Sevens in Twickenham, London.

The Osea Kolinisau-captain side played defence for most parts of the match as the Canadians dominated possession.

Continuous pressure took its toll on our players with six of them making their debut in London. This resulted in missed tackles, which allowed Canada to run in two soft tries in the second half to seal a win.

Our tries were scored by Vatemo Ravouvou, Kalione Nasoko and Amenoni Nasilasila with Ravouvou converting two.

Fiji later thrashed Japan 61-5
