Tough Skipper Cup Battle Looms

The Suva rugby team are in for a tough time as they take on Northland in the fourth round of the Skipper Cup competition at Gatward Park, Korovou, on Saturday.
Speaking to SUNsports, Northland’s manager Maciu Koroi said they are to work hard on their forwards to prepare them for the Suva clash.
“We still need to work on our forwards,” he said after their gutsy performance against a star studded Nadroga side.
The feature match will be at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, where the unbeaten Naitasiri side face defending champions Nadroga.
The Stallions escaped with a narrow 17-13 win over Northland and their techaical advisor Franck Boivert was far from happy after they lost control of the match.
Fresh from their win over Suva, the Namosi side travel to Labasa to take on Macuata while Malolo host Nadi.
In the Vodafone Vanua Championship (host team first): Cakaudrove v Bua, Serua v Ovalau, Tailevu v Rewa, Nasinu v North Bulls, Nanukuloa v Lautoka, Ra v Navosa, Ba v Tavua, Yasawa v Vatukoula.
