India and Thai taste is now in Sigatoka

Sitar Indian and Thai Restaurant Fiji has opened two of its four new sister restaurants at their $7 million complex at Korotogo along the Coral Coast.
Maikana Pizza and Pasta which opened last two weeks had employed more than 10 Fijians.
The other two restaurants are expected to open next month.
Director Muhammad Mozammel Hosen said: “Our business is growing very well and we love to continue this partnership with the Fijian people and our guests,” Mr Hosen said.
“There was no Indian and Thai food in Sigatoka and now there’s no need to travel as far for Thai food lovers as Sitar is now at their door step.”
The four restaurants is an investment of $1.5 million, he said.
“We have opened Maikana Pizza and Pasta featuring a chef from Morocco and a chef from Bangladesh.
Mr Hosen said they would also be opening a Japanese restaurant next month.
“This will be one stop shop entity. When in full operational we should be employing over 20 Fijians in shift work.
In the complex, there are five outlets to be leased by companies including rental car, groceries, retail shops and ATM facilities.
The apartments which are situated at the top floor will be ready in three months, he said.
