Thirty recruits undergoing the Police Basic Recruits Course yesterday donated blood to the National Blood Services in line with the institution’s concept of working with the community.
Taking into consideration the need for this vital the recruits volunteered to donate blood in the hope of making a difference and saving a life.
This is also in light of the increasing number of overseas visiting medical teams providing specialised surgical missions and with the need for blood increasing on a daily basis, the recruits quickly put up their hands when asked to assist.
The recruits are currently undergoing the six months Basic Recruits Course at the Fiji Police Academy.
