Top Golfers For Sheraton Classic

The 2017 Sheraton Golf Classic is set to tee off from May 24- 27 at the renowned Denarau Golf & Racquet Club for its 7th consecutive year.

The tournament, previously known as the Starwood Golf Classic is open to local and international players. The four day event will see 220 professional and amateur players compete for the prize pool of over $130,000- professional prize money and amateur prizes.

There is close to 40 overseas teams participating with each team consisting of one professional golfer and three amateur level golfers.

The event will begin with a welcome cocktail ceremony for all players and sponsors alike today from 6.30pm to 8pm where players will also receive their special tournament gift packs.

Players participating are from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, USA, Samoa and Fiji and most of them have been part of the journey since its humble beginnings.

“It’s always great to see the positive support from local and international golfers and sponsors as we go into our seventh consecutive year for the Sheraton Golf Classic” said Ravinder Dhesi, hotel manager for Sheraton Fiji Resort and Sheraton Denarau Villas.
