Wallabies Will Be Tough, Says Coach

The Vodafone Flying Fijians side that will play against the Australian Wallabies will need to ambitious, says head coach John McKee.
This was after former All Blacks lock Andy Haden indicated this week that the Flying Fijians are capable of an upset win since the Wallabies are struggling to find their form.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, McKee said they respect the host side but the Fijians would go onto the field with determination.
“Australia will be a very strong opposition although their Super Rugby teams have not performed well as expected this season but they will pick their best team,” he said.
“They will pick a very strong team right across the field and we have to be well-prepared for that game. Certainly we will have a lot of ambitions to challenge the Wallabies,” he added.
They last met during the pool matches of the 2015 Rugby World Cup where Fiji took the game to the Wallabies as they were able to hold them in the scrums.
Meanwhile, the national rugby side will have a three-day camp in Suva next Wednesday. The Flying Fijians will face Australia in Melbourne on June 10 then fly back home for their matches against Italy and Scotland on June 17 and 24. They will face Tonga and Samoa in the 2019 Rugby World Cup qualifying matches on July 8 and 15.
