The Master Class Fiji event has given the hospitality and culinary industry an opportunity like no other, says Vegan and Food nutritionist Cat Adora.

The event is scheduled at the Rhum Bar on Denarau Island from May 29 to June 1.

The Australian nutritionist said being involved in such a culinary event brings superior quality. It also brings an outstanding opportunity showcasing individual talent and expertise as well as providing a taste of what the best raw, plant based and vegan designed food has to offer on the shores of Fiji.

Ms Adora said: “This enables them to present a lifestyle of unique food options direct from local fresh produce that promotes optimum health, energy and wellness that can give anyone a bird’s eye view at how the most commonly grown fresh produce can be transformed into beautiful healthy tasty meals and desserts without even the need for ‘cooking’.”

Exposing this style of healthy eating to culinary teams can keep with a global trend of health consciousness not only for Fijians, but also for visitors to Fiji seeking a holistic and wellness experience.

“I’m excited to share my passion for optimum healthy living. This opportunity is ideal to share holistic healing properties and nutritional values that nature’s plants and fruits growing here in Fiji provide especially in combating the issues of illness and NCD’s Fiji currently faces,” she said.

“I’m excited to be showing Fiji that a raw, vegan and plant-based lifestyle is not only incredibly delicious, but that raw living foods have the ability to heal us from the inside out.”

She is grateful to The Coliseum for boldly taking this step to host such an amazing “first of its kind in Fiji” event.
