The Fiji Fashion Week’s Trendsetter Show didn’t disappoint as 13 designers showcased their collections at the Vodafone Arena in Suva last night.

Fiji Fashion Week managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight said she was amazed and emotional.

“We, the Pacific, have a platform to showcase our creativity and now are ready to expose this to the world,” she said.

The first collection was showcased by local designers, Ilaitia Jikoiono. His Zuber Collection wowed the audience.

The collection featured fashion forward looks that a person could wear any day of the week.

Other designers and collections featured were: Mohini Gounder, the Samal Singh, the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) students, MYRA Fiji, EngeLEENA, Kakali, Sinclair, Femata Couture, KO-IA, TAV, RL Designs and Clutch Couture, and Nasaroa.

The Fiji Fashion Week shows conclude tonight with the the Gold Couture Runway Show at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
