Top seed Mulan Kamoe will need to step-up a notch against Solomon Islands’ Georjemiah Row during the Open ladies single semi-final of the 110th Fiji Tattslotto Open Tennis Championship at the Denarau Golf and Racquet today.

This is Kamoe first outing in the Open ladies single and she hopes to stamp her mark just like her sister Tarani who is the defending champion.

“My first game was in the mixed doubles which did not really go so well but I am not really worried.

“The game has been tough but I aim to just play well and enjoy. It’s not about the win but it is about enjoying it because it will make me win and be more confident,” she said.

Other semi-final events sees top seed Steffie Carruthers taking on Saoirse Breen.

This is after Breen defeated Vienna Kumar (6-2) (6-2).

In the Open men single Raynal Singh lost to top seed Gilles De Gouy(6-0,6-2),while Krishan Raju was defeated by Semisi Fanguna ((6-2 (6-3).

In today’s semi-final will see top seed Gilles De Gouy take on Matarao Fanguna from Tonga while Larry Magalasin will take on Junior Benjamin.
