New Zealand professional golfer Pieter Zwart continues to lead the 7th Sheraton Classics 2017 (Pro-Am) at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club.

This was after he carded a 19 under par total of 187 in the third day of competition.  In second spot is Glen Joyer with 203 (66, 70, and 67) and third is fellow Kiwi Kieran Muir on  204 (66,69,69).

Managing director of Pacific Golf Richard Ellis said; “The course has been in good condition and it has been the best after six years and everything has been going according to plan.

“The leader after three rounds is Zwart. There are other players having a good time.

“It has always been good to come to Fiji and the course is in better conditions every year and it is good to be here.”

He also acknowledged the sponsors for supporting the amazing sport.

Mehboob Buksh, who is competing in the senior category, praised the organisation of the tournament.

“We have completed the third round and we have been having fun, competing and enjoying it. I’ve  been playing well scoring 75, 76 and 77,”Buksh said.
