A small Suva based home bakery business Lady Kupcake with their creative flair for flavours will be one of the highlights of the Thurston Food and Wine Festival in July.

“We love creating local flavours and are constantly trying to make something new,” the owners Krystelle and Hans Danford said.

They also understand that new bold flavours are scary sometimes “so you can just dip your toes in our flavour ocean with some of our regular favourites”.

But for those willing to take the plunge with them, they promise every morsel will be an experience.

The festival is organised by Knox Entertainment and will feature 12 of Fiji’s top bands, live theatre, and creative art.

The event will be held at Thurston Gardens in Suva.

The fete will include celebrating desserts from the morning with filled crepes, as well as more than 20 flavours of cupcakes, local desserts and small sweets at the festival.
