Fascinating Ivi Restaurant

Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort executive chef Shailesh Naidu is Fiji’s most awarded and renowned chef and the mastermind behind the Ivi restaurant’s fine dining reputation.
“I’m extremely proud of my very young team; they are in their early 20’s and incredibly passionate chefs,” he said.
“It’s an all–girl team and every one of them started as a trainee and worked their way up.
“They a very disciplined and dedicated towards their work which our kitchen life so easy.”
The adult only domain opened in 2001 and was designed to provide an intimate setting for couples looking to enjoy fine food and wine amidst the ambience of what is the resort’s signature restaurant.
“They are currently practising on the new menu which I will implement in a couple of week’s time.”
Recently, during the 2016 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards the Ivi restaurant won the Visitor Dining Experience.
