The event will take place on July 29 at the Albert Park in Suva.

The Frank Hilton Organisation is targeting to raise more than $100,000 at this year’s Amazing Wheelbarrow Race in support for children with disabilities.

Chief executive officer Sureni Parera said the Amazing Wheelbarrow race was a fundraising event to continue their services in providing for children with disabilities.

The wheelbarrow race will be held on July 29 at Albert Park in Suva.

Mr Parera was speaking at the launching of the event at the Albert Park Pavilion on Friday night to guests and friends of the organization.

He said the Frank Hilton Organisation was a charitable organisation that provided services to over 250 children with disabilities.

He said they were targeting for more than 10 teams this year.

The race was an opportunity for team-bonding for participating teams and entrance fee for a team is $5000.

Mr Parera said the registration would close two weeks before the race.
