This was confirmed by Naitasiri Rugby head coach Koli Sewabu.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Sewabu said preparations for this Saturday’s clash against Northland are on track.

“Our preparations are going normal as the boys got an extra day to rest and they will join camp today,” the former Flying Fijian No.8 said.

“We’ll need to get that bonus point in the next match in order to secure a place for the semi-final which the players are aware of.

“For us we treat each game that we play as the final and we believe that each team has the potential so after losing to Nadroga, we managed to identify the key areas to improve on. That is mainly to sustain discipline and get maximise points to be on top of the points table”

Sewabu said some players sustained minor injuries from their game against Suva and he would be making some positional changes in their line-up.

“Our prop Eroni Mawi is injured but we are confident that he will recover for our next game on Saturday. We will also make some changes in our backline and to try to expose some of our young talents. I thank the Naitasiri fans for their support in coming out in numbers to support the side which really lifted the spirit of the players to perform well,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Highlanders lead the standings with 20 points while Nadroga are in second spot with 18 followed by Namosi and Nadi with 15 each while Suva are on 14.
