Rewa In Must-Win Situation

It will be a must win for Rewa when they take on Serua at Burebasaga ground in the Vodafone Vanua Challenge on Saturday.

Following their first loss to Ovalau last Saturday, Rewa head coach Ro Alifereti Doviverata said they need to win their next game to keep their lead on top of the table.

“It was a close game against Ovalau, the boys played well,” the former Flying Fijian skipper said.

“I mean at one stage I thought the boys could have extended the lead but that’s rugby.

“It was a good game, I think we could have done better but this is just a lesson for the boys and that they need to do more in our next game.”

Playing against Serua at home will not be an easy game as Ro Dovi says, a win is a must for them.

“We obviously need to regroup and go back to the drawing board after the game against Ovalau.

“Playing Serua will be a tough game but it is a must win for us if we want to remain at the top of the table.

“We’ve learnt from our mistakes and not to repeat it.”
