Hot Bread Kitchen yesterday provided new sets of jerseys for the Lami Steelers Rugby League Club.

This is to help boost the players’ performance in the Fiji National Rugby League Vodafone Cup Challenge competition.

Hot Bread Kitchen chairperson Mere Samisoni is grateful for the opportunity to sponsor the club.

“We at Hot Bread Kitchen believe in developing youth and especially unemployed people through sports because in that way we can help them have a better life,” Samisoni said

“It’s our vision and mission to help the unemployed people play and live the Christian principles.”

The sponsorship is worth $3000.

Lami Steelers coach and former Vodafone Fijian Bati rep Viliame Tukana was thankful for the sponsorship.

“I’m thankful to Hot Bread Kitchen for their support,” Tukana said.

“It has been seven years since I started this club and the reason being to give the unemployed youths another opportunity to get a better life.

“Our club has produced Viliame Mata, 7s rugby Olympian and currently a member of the Vodafone Flying Fijians.”
